Overview of Role

Bidstack is looking for a candidate to oversee our business development pipeline in the gaming team – identifying suitable games publishers and developers across all Bidstack supported platforms and working with them to secure new business. This position will work closely with VP Gaming, Solutions Engineer and Account Manager and other key cross functional stakeholders at Bidstack including Tech and Legal.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and identifying suitable games publishers and developers, introducing them to the Bidstack offering and working in collaboration with our Solutions Engineer to sign and successfully onboard their titles.

You must have:

  • High attention to detail and strong organisation skills
  • A track record of meeting/exceeding goals, whether those are related to revenue or other OKRs
  • Enough technical depth that allows you to work easily with the Solutions Engineer
  • Exceptionally clear and concise communication style
  • An entrepreneurial mentality: tough, scrappy and collaborative
  • A love for relationship building and ability to work with many different types of personalities
  • Willingness to travel as required


  • Source and identify key gaming publishers and developers by genre for Bidstack offering across all supported platforms, engines etc.
  • Manage overall business development pipeline of identified targets through initial sales and onboarding process through to go-live; working collaboratively with Solutions Engineer
  • Help manage and resolve issues, escalating where needed and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Create and maintain centralised documentation of Business Development pipeline and relationship status
  • Provide weekly report to Senior Management of BD pipeline status
  • Negotiate and close contracts with support of VP Gaming and Legal
  • Build and maintain relationships at multiple levels of our partners’ organisations
  • Identify additional opportunities with partners that further Bidstack’s business objectives
  • Work closely with VP Gaming and Legal to identify and negotiate renewal opportunities
  • Understand and make recommendations on how we should structure, standardise and scale partnerships
  • Work closely with VP Gaming and Marketing & PR to promote attendance at key industry events and to raise profile of Bidstack offering amongst gaming industry
  • Work closely with Creative team to prepare collateral for meetings and industry events
  • Represent Bidstack at partner and industry events


  • 5+ years of proven business development and/or relationship management experience
  • Ability to build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and attention to detail
  • Proactive self starter with good EQ who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to work within small teams but collaborate cross-functionally with the wider company
  • Understanding of the gaming landscape across PC, console & mobile
  • Network of connections within gaming industry desirable
